Parsec is a nebulous visual data construct intended to hold untold amounts of top-secret and sensitive government information. Characters throughout the film will interact with the HEX Object, illustrating the vast scope of the informational network contained inside. Parsec is a pivotal concept in the film which will convey ideas and concepts back to the central storyline. One of the most crucial concepts we will need to convey is showing a massive population and their ability to navigate time-warping portals throughout the film’s universe. Overall, Parsec should be designed to not only look interesting, but to convey basic visual information to the audience and support the characters’ actions.
